Role Description
This is a contract remote role for an SBA 504/CDC Underwriter. Our SBA 504/CDC Underwriter will be responsible for performing credit analysis, financial spreading, and comprehensive underwriting of SBA 504 loan applications. This role includes preparing credit memos, assessing borrower qualifications, and ensuring compliance with SBA and company guidelines. Collaboration with other team members and maintaining communication with lenders will also be key components of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using Ventures Technologies and Microsoft Office software
- Credit analysis, financial spreading, and underwriting skills
- Experience preparing credit memos and assessing borrower qualifications
- Knowledge of SBA 504 loan program regulations and eligibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
